SCRIBS Energy DMCC was formally established in January 2023 as an independent trading company recognized for its outstanding performance,operational excellence, and competitive pricing.
While the company itself is young, its founders have been active in the energy trading sector since 2011, steadily expanding their operations and customer base across Africa, Brazil, Turkey, and the Arabian Gulf.
Today, SCRIBS Energy focuses on the supply of crude and refined petroleum products, including Mogas, Reformate, Gasoil, LOGBS, Fuel Oil, DPK, and Jet A1. Since its inception, the company has expanded significantly, building scale in crude and petroleum supply as well as the transportation of petroleum products across East Africa.
EAST AFRICA OPERATIONS
SCRIBS Energy DMCC has established a strong foothold in the East African
market by developing inland supply chains through the Mozambique
corridor.
Our entry points are strategically positioned in Matola and Beira, enabling
efficient distribution both within Mozambique and into neighboring
countries.
From Beira, we move product inland via the pipeline into Msasa and Feruka
(Zimbabwe), as well as by truck into the DRC, Zambia, and Malawi.
From Matola, we supply Southern Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa,
utilizing both ex-tank deliveries and rail movements into key demand
centers.
To strengthen our regional expertise, we brought on board Mohammed Al
Ghannam, a highly experienced trader who successfully managed this
corridor for over 15 years with one of the world’s leading trading houses.
His deep knowledge of the market and proven track record have been
instrumental in establishing SCRIBS Energy as a reliable and competitive
supplier across the region.
PRODUCTS
The founders of SCRIBS Energy DMCC has concentrated on the
supply of petroleum products and crude oils.
Petroleum Grades traded are Mogas, Reformate, Gasoil, LOGBS,
Fuel Oil, DPK and Jet A1.
Crude Grades traded are Qua Iboe, Bonny Light, Agu, Okwuibome, Erha, Forcados, Brass River and Escravos.
